PRANAYAMA - THE BREATH OF A YOGINI

PRANA - LIFE FORCE
THE FORCE THAT ANIMATES ALL THINGS
PRA - CONSTANT
NA - MOVEMENT
YAMA - CONTROL / REGULATION
AYAMA - TO LENGTHEN
Pranayama are breath techniques which are rooted in the tradition of Yoga. It is the bridge between the physical aspect of Yoga, which is Asanas and the finer aspects, supporting our path to meditation. In my practice Pranayama is a very strong pillar of light, supporting me all through the day and where ever I go.

THREE KEY ASPECTS

Spiritual Meditation
INNER REFLECTION
The breath is a reflection of my inner state and helps me to get to know myself better. It is a tool to work through difficult emotional states and find release and ease.
This is accessible for you too. Pranayama offers techniques which once learned, are always with you.

KRIYA
Pranayama offers me a sense of fluid stability, it gives me access to my first and second chakra - from mind to body. The Kriyas provide me an understanding of my gut health and also sense into the connection from gut to mind.

FROM DENSE TO FINE
The most inspiring part is the sense of fluidity, timelessness and the absence of physical boundaries which I experience while practicing pranayama. Its a humbling state of non-self which leads me into mediation. This as well is accessible to you. Pranayama is the bridge from dense to finer states.

SNIPPTES ABOUT ME

My husband and I have a close connection to the Indian Himalayas - especially Leh and Drass.

The mountains have always fascinated me. As a Child and till today  listen deep into the core of the mountains and listen to their murmuring energy.

Leh captured my heart the first time I visited which is about 16 years ago. Kargil and Drass I visited 2 Years ago and it shifted something within me. It is an energetically rich region and soak in the time there with every cell of my being.
